Locks of Love, Salado, TX

This sculpture is intended to add a touch of remembrance of Salado for newlyweds or couples in love, visiting Salado. Locks of Love can be interpreted as an image of Salado hospitality to all visitors.

The Locks of Love of Salado is composed of two large carved Limestone boulders linked together by multiple chains with padlocks placed in the links by couples signifying their love for each other. This makes a great photo opportunity for many visitors to Salado. The limestone boulders are carved with hearts from top to bottom.
